Development Coordinator

Hockey Winnipeg is pleased to announce the hiring of Brent Poplawski as the new Development Coordinator effective July 30, 2018.

Brent is a former competitive hockey player from Winnipeg, Manitoba who recently graduated with a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management from the University of Manitoba. Brent worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Manitoba for several years and has experience conducting seminars and providing lectures to numerous classes on a variety subjects related to athletics, physical activity, and recreation. In addition, Brent’s research throughout graduate school specifically focused on youth hockey development in Winnipeg and he has over 10 years of experience working as an on-ice and off-ice hockey instructor with players between the ages of five and 20 across the city.

Brent is excited to apply his passion for the game and use his experience and skills to serve the Hockey community.
