Remembering Lorne Badder

Lorne Badder passed away on April 22, 2017, at the age of 61 years with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife Flo of 37 years. 2 son’s Randy ( Shawna), Jamie (Courtenay) step grandson Daniel, his Grand daughter Kiyah, the love of his life, and numerous extended family and friends.

Lorne served the minor hockey community as an active member for over 30 years. He held several different positions with Fort Garry Fort Rouge Area Association including Vice President of 8A1-12, Suspension Director, as well as a representative to the Winnipeg West League for both Fort Garry/Fort Rouge Hockey Association and Pembina Trail. His last position was Vice President of the Winnipeg West League, which he held for many years.  He also volunteered as coach and or manager for many of the teams on which his boys played.

Lorne was passionate for the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and time at the country home. A celebration of Lorne’s life will be held at a later date.
